Your Girl Is Tatted Up

I got a tattoo! Ahhh, is this real life? I can't believe that the same girl who used to scream and cry in the doctor's office voluntarily went under the needle.

It was definitely uncomfortable, but not unbearable. I remember it feeling very hot and pokey. The thrill of it all has me already thinking about my next one (I know, cliche).

What does it say, you ask? Well. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to get. I knew I wanted it to mean something profound enough to keep me motivated, help me practice self-love and remind me to stay positive. I stumbled upon this word on tumblr one day a few years back and it is something that has always stuck with me. After finally mustering up the courage to even consider stepping foot in a tattoo shop, I knew at once that this is the word I wanted to ride with me forever.
