Rifle Paper Co. 2019 Wall Calendar
Another year, another Rifle Paper Co. calendar, and boy am I excited to share this one. Just when I thought they couldn't outdo themselves from the 2018 calendar (read my post about it here) they do it, blowing my mind in the process.
This year's theme is "World Traveler" and it's complete with 12 pages of colorful illustrations, filled with personality and plenty of cuteness that typically accompanies art of this style.
At the end of each month, I get exited to turn the page to reveal a new place in the world where I have yet to visit, with a few exceptions. I've been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel to New York, London and Bangkok, which means there are 9 new cities on my bucket list.
Lately I've been feeling very stuck. I hate being stagnant for so long. There are so many places I want to see and things I want to do, but here I am, sitting in a cubicle at my 9 to 5, coming home to a toxic environment and wasting away on the couch with someone who lacks the motivation and dream capacity as I do. It's frustrating, but at the same time, I know that the only person who can change my circumstances is me. I am just unsure of the means to get to where I want to be. Hopefully the universe presents me with the opportunities I seek, whether it be obvious or in a way I would have never expected.
Until then, I am keeping my channels open and trying not to chase, but instead attract. Looking at this calendar helps keep the fire in my soul and travel dreams alive, which is a lot to say about something as simple as a calendar. I guess the only way to dream is big.
